What are your thoughts on the non-conference schedule? A couple of scheduled wins are necessary, but I like having big games to look forward to most weeks (even if it means our record suffers a little).

It sucks to be honest. Monticello had a thread about it a while back. I'd take a shot at a win/loss with good BCS program over a South Alabama game. Have a big game at the beginning of the year with a big name team is way more exciting than any game with Middle Tennessee Technical Institute for the Blind.

After going to and having a BLAST at back to back Bowl games. I'd personally play the cupcake ooc schedule so we can become bowl eligible every year.

The more we bowl, the happier the fans are, and the more money we bring in.

You've got four sophomores two of which haven't ever had significant playing time. They may be good in a couple of years but there will be growing pains up front.

We will be fine up front. If it is one thing that we can do its develop offensive linemen.

Even Alabama had problems when their stud Oline was young in 10(relatively speaking). They might turn out to be studs as upperclassmen but historically young lines tend to struggle.

Good thing is the first 7 games are all easy/winnable. Gives those guys time to gel before we hit the meat of our schedule.

Our schedule couldn't set up any better for us to be honest.

Yea they wont have any problems up front, especially with Blaine starting at LT! The same guy that sucked so bad last year that they replaced him with a crippled DT.

How about let's try to work to having a solid program where we dont' have to worry about winning 4 cupcakes ooc to get to eligibility. Besides, there isn't much difference in being 6-6 than 7-5 as a State fan. It's Liberty or Music either way or whatever that one in B'ham is. Maybe an OOC loss would motivate the team more to win an SEC game.

Blaine improved last year and was average by the end. The bowl month probably helped a lot. Add another spring and training camp and he should be ok.

Careful, CDawg. I agree with you but the last time I used this logic, I was branded a closet Ole Miss fan by a couple of our idiot posters.

Siddoway
Gabe Jackson
Holley
Dillon Day
Robinson/Muniz/or Clausell

that line isn't bad by any means, and there is some experience up front.

I'm confident in them. Hevesy is a great coach. Tobias Smith coming back in the fall will add to some of the experience also.
