We won 9 games with Chris Relf at quarterback. Our team should be as talented and experienced as that team. Dak is almost as big as relf. He's smarter than Relf. He throws better than Relf. And he is faster than Relf. Almost as strong and he'll be a redshirt freshman. Those are not opinions. That is truth. Do you understand now? Sure he might be a bust. But surely you can understand the optimism.

What are your thoughts on the non-conference schedule? A couple of scheduled wins are necessary, but I like having big games to look forward to most weeks (even if it means our record suffers a little).

Relf's o-line during that 9 win season was light years better than the one that Dak will have in front of him this year. Now in a couple of years yes. I can understand the optimism there but this year I just can't see it.

I think we start 6-1 splitting AU/Tenn and beat A&M in starkville and beat OM to go 8-4. A&M isn't supposed to be very good this year. Hell they really aren't ever very good, last season was supposed to be their NC contending year and they went 6-6 in the B12. And they lose some key players
