Perry would be Auburn’s best player on the roster.

Perry is a better college player than Okoro right now

One is up for SEC player of the year..
The other isn’t.
The other isn’t.

Good game MSU, congrats The one comment I’ve been holding back most of the game, I don’t like Perry, he seems like a bitch. I’m not a msu hater at all but if I’m stealing players he’s well down my list.
I’ve never seen a fanbase as salty about losing one player as Arky fans are about Perry, man y’all just don’t stop. It’s bad on twitter too.

You are feeding a troll. Do not attempt to argue or make an intelligent post. Do not make eye contact with him as you go about your business.

Ya, that's simply not true. Okoro is significantly better defender than Perry while also has a higher 2FG% and eFG%. That's before you consider Okoro's offensive stats vs KenPom Tier A+B opponents is very clearly better than Perry
Hell Okoro has a better block% in conference play than Perry despite being primarly used as a perimeter defender

I don’t follow recruiting that much, you can believe me or not but I wasn’t even considering that when I typed my comment. He smiles or more aptly preens too much combined with lollygagging is my take. Do either but not both imo. At least one of your posters seems to have had a similar sentiment in this thread.

Okoro eFG% -- 54.8%
Perry eFG% -- 54.3%
Considering the difference in usage (12.1 FGA per game for Perry vs. 9.2 for Okoro) I'd give the edge to Perry there
It's hard to compare them considering the positional difference but Perry is currently the best interior scorer in the conference, and it's not particularly close. Okoro's a great player with more NBA potential, no doubt, but he's not as gameplanned against as Perry. Auburn is a balanced team.

Considering how many more of Perry's shots are assisted relative to Okoro who makes more of his own shots, Okoro has the edge.
Doesn't change how Okoro is the clear superior defensive asset both in terms of ability + versatility

Perry is also one of the best rebounders on both sides in the conference. He's not an impact rim protector, you're right, but that's a drop in the bucket when we're talking about these guys as overall players.
Despite Perry scoring at a much higher volume, their eFG%s are essentially identical and Perry has a 2-point lead in TS%. Perry is a better offensive player right now, imo. Criticizing Perry for some of his baskets being assisted is a silly criticism. It's essentially saying that no big could ever be better than Okoro because wings create more than bigs.
So again, it's hard to compare them considering the positional difference. Perry is having an SEC POY season. I mean the guy has a 30 PER this season. It's not taking anything from Okoro saying that Perry is probably the better player right now, but, yes, "better" is hard to define, and it depends on what your team needs. Okoro is probably a better guy for Auburn to have considering they have solid bigs and guards and Okoro does everything you'd ever want out of a wing.

Well he's trolling right now. Everyone can see plain as day that Perry is the better college player right now.

I hope muss has success here. The first season is always the toughest because you want to leave a big impression. It has been 25 years since Arkansas did anything and has laid turd after turd.
Muss needs to win big here. The smart hog fans don't buy into the hype and question everything. I understand muss is handicapped but previous coaches were as well or we assumed. When they did get the players(heath, pel, Anderson)they end up screwing it up.
I hope muss can change it here but the past keeps saying otherwise. I keep hearing next year and big recruiting classes are coming year after year but it doesn't amount to anything.
I'm not ready to crown muss yet. He has to prove people wrong with a fan base that is used to being stuck in a funk.
