Players run a lot of programs now days. At least the ones that don’t recruit at elite levels.

Thank you sweet baby Jesus.
2023: 47 sacks allowed (126th in nation)
2022: 31 sacks allowed
2021: 30 sacks allowed
2020: 30 sacks allowed
34.5 sacks given up per year, average.
2023: 93 TFL's (126th in nation)
2022: 84 TFL's
2021: 88 TFL's
2020: 65 TFL's
82.5 TFL's given up per year, average.
Dude was horrible and got worse every single year. The OL room hated the guy. Could not recruit for shite. State will run him off within a year as well if they are smart.

well, given state's mostly horrible history at OL, he should fit right in.

Total offensive plays
2023: 842
2022: 993
2021: 932
2020: 712
This helps further your point. It's better to remove doubt by providing full context. Higher sack and TFL numbers can sometimes come from having more offensive snaps. Clearly, this isn't the case.

Good thing he isn’t the OL coach and is only TEs

He seemed to do just fine under Briles and never a peep out of Hog fans.
Not even remotely true. He was the arguably the #1 person on our staff people wanted fired last year. We put up big yards sure but our OL development and recruitment under him was visibly subpar.

Fascinating that our previously fired TE coach is going to be your OL coach and our newly fired OL coach is going to be your TE coach. The SEC loves their retreads when it comes to coaching.

Well MSU already seems less dangerous than they might be

Maybe it's you and not them

Our TE room got significantly better after we fired Cooper. I am willing to take the bet that our OL room will as well.
I get it though, every fan base wants to believe their new head coach makes all grand slam hires. We would be the same as you right now. However, I’m also aware that when the departing fanbase has almost unanimous excitement over a coach leaving it usually means that coach actually is bad at his job.

Arkansas really missed Ricky Stromberg this year.
That OL was good at run blocking but really struggled with pass blocking.

Might be one of the biggest fleeces of all time. I'm sorry State, you don't deserve this.

We are 9-3 against y’all in the last 12 games.
Congrats, you have a whopping 3 game lead all time thanks to a 10 game win streak during Sherrill’s last few years and the Croom era.
Maybe you should rehire HDN, because he had our number for sure. He lost to us only once, by 1 point in 1998.

Only because Matt Luke is no longer coaching.

How much of both seasons was him vs OLine personnel?
There were some fundamental technique issues with the OL this year, which could only be tied to coaching. We've had less talented guys who were at least in the right spot when they got trucked.
Still confusing why Pittman didn't take a more active role in the OL development when it became apparent there were some real problems.
