Looking at their schedule they have nothing but winnable games until then..Of course that game definitely is NOT winnable. 
This looks to be Merlin's best team.

Why? Defense? Offense? Neither unit looked like world-beaters, but our schedule is soft.
Assuming we take care of business against Troy, Kentucky, etc., Tennessee is the most realistic chance at a loss, and we don't play them until October 13. Our seventh game. We could very well finish 7-5, but the front end of our schedule isn't overly worrisome.

Rebman is in your head
I didn't see a "really good defense" as much as I saw a terrible Auburn team with a QB who could not pass and was too scared to run with the ball
