He’s excited for the opportunity to coach in one of the top TWO conferences in college football. I wonder who he thinks is the best conference in college football. I think he’s in for a rude awakening.

Well, he's technically right. The SEC is one of the top 2 conferences, also one of the top 3, 5, 6 conferences.

But in all seriousness if you were to rate the big five conferences based on overall strength, past and recent performance, and potential I don't think Moorhead is wrong. The SEC is number one and the Big Ten is two.

Yes, GF. Since more than 1 conference exists, then by nature there will always be a top 2 in terms of ranking.

Georgia and Alabama were better than Wisconsin and Ohio State but start going down the list after that and it doesn't look pretty for the SEC.

Especially in the West, when teams like Alabama, Auburn, and LSU are on the opposing sidelines week after week he will realize he ain't playing Indiana and Illinois anymore.

He's about to learn some things really quickly. There's a reason the SEC has won 9 of the last 12 national championships. That's absurd.
