What’s the injury and how long is he out? Didn’t know that was a thing until Sat morning.

Turf toe
One of those nagging injuries so if he does come back he will have to manage it until season over

It’s not abundantly clear, but there appears to be optimism that he’ll be able to play against OU on Saturday. Not a sure thing, though.

Play and play at full health are two different things though. I think this may end up being a deal where he can try to play through it and then have surgery after the season.

But Kamario at 75% is still a country mile better than any other QB on the roster.

We wisely rested him and fluff. He is day to day. Our WR are really good, but Prep baw can’t do anything with them. I would trade our top 3 WRs for fluff, Smith, and KT.

For the sake of everyone’s eyeballs I pray that he does play against Oklahoma because if not, the long awaited sequel to 3-2 is very much in play.

Puckett moved the ball well once he settled in just couldn’t punch it in the endzone

If he had Fluff to run the ball I think he could be serviceable but I pray KT can play

I get wanting to make sure he’s healthy but that QB you had out there yesterday will not win a game left on the schedule. Like you said, KT at 75% is way better than playing your backup

He did ok, but not much of a weapon TBH. He 100% would have started for croom and won a few games, but he’s not the answer.

Turf toe on his plant foot and high ankle sprain. The danger of playing with grade 2 turf toe is risking a tear and being out for the rest of the year.

I hope he gets healthy soon. He’s fun to watch.

I don’t think he is 75% of his abilities. Turf toe js a bad name for the condition. It is horribly painful. Which hinders his running ability. That ability is as good as his passing. But if State’s line can protect he can eat a defense up with passing. That is why holding him out yesterday was a cop out. He could’ve picked apart LSUs defense.
