Information concerning generational trends is available to be understood. The misinformation in this thread is shocking.

Research has shown that the Millenials are, like every generation before them, taking it in the shorts from older generations.

When they can find work, and the job market isn't like it was when Gen X was their age and nothing like what it was the Baby Boomers showed up, they work longer hours and take fewer vacations. They tend to save their money better then Gen X and the Baby Boomers, in part because paying off their ungodly student loan debt has made them gunshy about running out of money.

The kids coming after them are fine too. Sure they are whiny little such and suchs... but so was every generation at that age.

The real reasons for the sparse turn out for games have already been laid out. There are more entertainment options, stadiums have gotten so big its hard to fill them consistently, ticket prices are at highway robbery levels, and to be honest sitting at home in my plush recliner even my arse gets tired of a game where we are three hours in and we still have ten minutes to go in the third quarter.

Student tickets and seating need to be incentive/reward based. It helps tremendously.

I totally agree with this.......and I'm not sure that's good.

I'm sure your generation will turn it around.
That has nothing to do with baby Boomers and has everything to do with politicians.

Not while the debt was climbing. I mean it was climbing before the BB came in and will continue to climb to dizzying heights well after BB's are gone. The newer generation is more liberal and socialist, and that does not bode well for the national debt.
