Today's student sections are terrible. They can't even be bothered to stay for an entire game even at close games. They are more worried about the social scene or the weather.

Examples:

Alabama:

LSU:

Ole Miss:

I'm a millennial, and I completely agree. I try to do my part, though...

Student tickets and seating need to be incentive/reward based. It helps tremendously.

Someone, somewhere included the 80s born in millenials but most people do not. There's a big difference in those that grew up watching Bugs Bunny for an hour once every Saturday to those that grew up watching Barney and being entertained 24x7.

People need to stop lumping folks born in the 80's in with the pieces of shite born in the mid-90's and later. Then the word might start to mean something. At least people born in the 80's had some culture left.

I am NOT a millenial. Gen Y and my older brother is Gen X. When MTV was MTV and skateboarding was not a crime*.

My oldest sister is 10 years older than me. I got to sit in the back of her car and listen to the golden age of music: 80s hair bands.
