Sorry to hear about this. Phenomenal animal and great mascot. Cancer sucks.

And sadly that's young for an LSU Tiger with most living to be around 15-17 years.

Well our vet school is one of the best in the country and we have particular expertise in tigers for obvious reasons. Mike gets better care than any captive tiger in the world with the exception of the San Diego Zoo tigers. He will be taken care of as much as humanly possible as he goes.
Okay. Thanks for the answer. Apparently asking an honest question really upset some of your fellow LSU fans for reasons I can only speculate relate to mental problems.

Tony is near the end of his life span as well. Pretty sure he is past the natural life of a wild tiger despite his shite care.
Pretty unbelievable. He's been alive for as long as I can remember. Like at least 15 years?

I don't find anything about his answer as being upset. But trying to make it sound that way and manipulating it to look that way is called gas lighting. A common tactic in people with personality disorders according to the DSM-5.
I Pray for your wife and kids
So, frick off, RWs.

You need to learn to read more carefully. I wasn't referring to him at all, something a reader would have deduced from the phrase "some of your fellow LSU fans" (emphasis added) if he were reading carefully. I was merely referring to the fact that people felt the need to downvote instead of, y'know, answering the damned question.
And I'm not clicking a link offered by someone who can't read carefully. It's just not likely to end intelligently.

Whatever, you quoted him. Now kindly go back to fricking yourself. TIA

Um. Yes I did. Because he answered my question. I even thanked him for doing so. So now you're not only wrong, you're childishly pissed off and defensive because your mistake was pointed out. What the frick is wrong with you, and could you possibly look into suing your parents for the indiscretions that led to your condition? It might give you some closure.

How does hospice work for a large predator? Is this some jury-rigged system on campus involving the veterinarians or did they take him to a zoo/habitat with experience in these things?
Now you are going to act like your shite-starting question was sincere? We appreciate that you got a kind and thought out answer from a good ole baw; but when you ask a question like this about a situation happening now; expect to be downvoted and don't act like an innocent victim when someone calls you out on it. "...some jury-rigged campus thing...blah, blah, blah..."
I don't know if you can do it a third time; but please go frick yourself. Not so kindly this time. Thanks!

You can believe what you want -- I assume what you believe will be incredibly stupid just based on your series of posts here -- but I asked a simple question. I assume LSU, not being a big cat reserve, doesn't have a dedicated hospice facility for big cats separate from its normal habitat. Since it was made clear the tiger was removed from said habitat, the only logical conclusion would be that LSU would either send Mike off to a place that does have a dedicated hospice facility, or it would jury-rig something on campus. And, no, "jury-rigged" is not in any lexicographical sense an insult.
I'm sorry being too stupid to understand a basic question leads you to having hurt feelings so easily, but it's honestly not my problem. Get therapy. Sue your parents. Whatever works. You give LSU fans a bad name.

Well, since you like the upvote/downvote system so much, I will take that as the barometer for this here argument, yahonah. We can see without a shadow of a doubt, that Mr Randomways is now crawfishin'.

Huh? I haven't touched the system. I almost never up or downvote. I prefer to discuss things I agree or disagree with. Just because you're frantically clicking doesn't mean I care. I already know you're too stupid to understand what's being discussed. Your downvoting doesn't add any nuance to that.

I'm not the only one downvoting, guy. You were the one pissed about all of your downvotes to begin with.
It may not be what you asked but how you asked it. And you may, be too smart for your own good.
Remember when nerds had shame?

I know the long history of Mike but how did he get the name Mike?

Holy Christ...you have an alter helping you vote yourself up and other people down!? The sense of power you must feel. And I remember when nerds didn't think "smart" was an insult. Must be frustrating for you, being trapped inside that skull of yours.
Ah, well. Being stupid is its own punishment, so I suppose there's not much else I can do to you.

Given the name Mike after Mike Chambers, the man responsible for bringing Mike I to LSU
