Mike Leach is a national treasure. Although Clemson is my team, I would have to pull for the Razorbacks if the Pirate went there or any school in the SEC.

All that SOB does is take failing programs that have no business of being as good as Leach has made them..Arky could use this

If someone gives you 10000 to one odds, you take them.

Honestly Leach would be a great fit at Arkansas. They need a gadget/different offense to compete and he certainly brings that wrinkle.

That dude is funny as hell, and typically has great offenses. I wouldn’t mind him as head coach at LSU if O craps the bed.

he's one of the highest paid coordinators in the country. They would have to offer him one hell of a contract to get him to leave

Any major program offering him a HC gig would surpass that, in perks as well as outright salary I imagine.

I hate to say this, but LSU fans talking about how securely we have our coordinators locked in, sound a lot like they are using the same logic that expected us to land an elite HC after Les.

Perhaps Aranda wants to coach a defense under an elite HC with a clearly defined plan on how his program will run, and has displayed past success with that program. That's an opportunity he doesn't have right now. Maybe he thinks that taking a few hundred grand a year for a couple years, in return for learning more about running a top program, is a good investment... 2 years under Saban as his prodigy, then assume a major powerhouse program as HC.

Leach would be good for Arky...He would put in an offense that will win pretty quick and he'd recruit Texas, which Bert couldn't
