This is nothing more than a little brother wishing and hoping

Their feelings are still hurt that they had to settle for their sixth and eighth choice in Charlie Strong and Tom Herman

And then their third choice with Steve Sarkesian, who was a coordinator after their attempts to hire a top head coach failed

Remember urban Meyer was in Austin signing a contract in for a house three weeks before Sarkesian was announced

Those things sound mean, but they are true ESPN has called them a toxic environment for over a decade and it’s another reason they have to make sark work for an extended period of time because the job has become toxic and they know it in their hearts, they know that’s why they couldn’t get a top name coach there and had to settle

I wonder why Sark is not being considered for any of these vacancies? He was the greatest thing since sliced bread when UTrans hired him. He is supposed to be an offensive genius tutored by the great Saban. I wonder why nobody else wants him? He took the donghorns to the playoffs twice, has multiple years of SEC experience and took the donghorns from shite to shinola yet nobody else wants him.

Wonder why Penn State isn’t coming after Sark and Kelly?

Why the frick would he go to Penn St

Penn State could never muster the salary, facilities, fan support, or NIL money that Texas A&M can. The only reason that I can think of is to be closer to home; however, if his parents are still alive in Jersey, he has more than enough money to move them to College Station.

You do realize that Franklin had a much higher salary at PSU than Elko does at A&M right? They just paid him $50MM to go away, I dont think they are exactly broke. They can afford to hire any top tier coach just like A&M can.

PSU's average football game attendance: 108,379
A&M average football game attendance: 102,847

PSU also has the second largest living alumni base, Aggies dont even crack the top 5.

Penn state is a top job why would they come after coaches that seem to be struggling to develop players and that are losing to unranked teams?

… because he’s under contracts for another 6 years…

I saw you posted more after that but I figured it had zero substance considering you think people are gonna be able to pony up the money for his buyout and pay him more than what Texas is paying him.

Young team, but he’s still the only coach to make it to the last two semi finals.

Elko's got his team to 7-0 and is looking at 5 more games where they will be the clear favorite before the SEC CCG so why would he even want to go somewhere else?

This is the first time since I've been watching college football (i.e. a long time) that A&M has been in this position, a real shot at winning it all.

Few coaches ever get an opportunity to lift a team to the next level. Elko pulls this off he becomes the King of College Station forever.

He is never leaving aTm unless he starts to struggle and they run him out.
