All of these coaches magically taking new jobs as soon as Signing Day is over is some of the sleaziest shite ever. All SEC schools have been guilty. When assistant coaches establish relationships with recruits and woo recruits to a school while knowing that they're about to leave as soon as the recruits sign, it's basically lying in its highest form.

It's the monster we have created. There's no loyalty among coaches or players these days.

It is simple; he is 60 years old and wants to go home.

Coach was home sick and fans are house sick.

His family is from the area and supposedly were wanting to go home. Guy got a good offer and gets closer to where he grew up.

If it was just about money, he would have left for A&M. this is like a Louisiana guy getting an opportunity to coach close to his family and home for the same or better money at a top 15 program.

Can’t blame him and wish the guy the best. LSU will be okay.

must be a clause in the contract that leaving before signing day forfeits part of the salary.
why else wait until after signing fay when he should have been signing players to Notre Dame..
was Brian Kelly in on this recruiting trick. convinced denbrock to stay and sign recruits until signing day is gone?

You obviously are newer to following college football. Welcome!

Denbrock doesn't know how to make a roux and doesn't want to know. If I were a coach I'd go to red stick for the food alone, no other reason.

Whatever. He’ll stay a year or 2 then move somewhere else. Such is the coaching carousel in college football today. Add NIL and transfer portal and the sport is almost unrecognizable now. I understand things change but this is too much in too short a time.
