Those two plus vandy nearly beats the entire Big Ten even with the addition of USC

could see him going to Michigan for that. LSU won't match either and I don't blame them

He won't.

He loves lsu. Sees himself as the next jayden daniels.

I'm sure lsu is giving him 6 mil over 3 yrs anyway.

It’s a farce these days, pretending that these college players are amateurs.

Amateur athletics is dead. I miss the days of true amateurism in CFB. A Charger here or there and a pocketful of $50 Dominos gift cards would get you a championship.

I would say this is outrageous, but think about what these schools are willing to spend on a head coach...

In cfb I think we've seen that QBs can be even more valuable than HCs when it comes to winning championships.

In hindsight, how much was Joe Burrow worth to LSU?
How much was Cam Newton worth to Auburn?
Deshaun Watson to Clemson?

And on down the line.

On the other hand, how much did Burrow make by transferring to LSU?

If Michigan thought they were getting him they wouldn't be broadcasting what they offered him. LSU has never disclosed the amount of his NIL deal.

A QB with zero starts in 3 years was down to Cincinnati and LSU.

A free meal and boiled crawfish during his visit

Not gonna lie, I wouldn't blame him if he took Michigan up on the offer. That's a shite-ton of money for a high school kid... even if he never sniffs the NFL, he should be ok for life.

I hate that it's an LSU recruit this is happening around, as my first choice would be that he come here and be fantastic. My very close second choice would be that he go there and take the money, and never see the field

My prior post was not clear. Burrow eventually made a ton of money by transferring to LSU. If he doesn’t become a Tiger, he doesn’t go first in the draft and who knows if he ever gets a shot at making the huge NFL money.
