I wasnt talking about their endowment(which is academic)
An endowment represents the lion's share of a university's resources and is pretty well reflective of alumni giving and institutional resource management. What do academics have to do with anything?

The only thing Michigan has on Georgia are academics, and that's not by a huge margin either.

Leaving the SEC to coach in the B1G is a downgrade alone. That conference is 2-3 seasons away from being "dead". I hate to say it but the guy is a great coach. He's one of the smartest people to ever stand on that sideline. For whatever reason alone, ever since he remove the title HC/OC they haven't been that same team they were in the early 2000s. It's been on the defensive side of the ball. He's had better defensive players go thru there than AU on a consistent basis. It's only now with CGM do I think that will change. UGA would be fricking stupid to get rid of him & if they did whoever they replace him with is not going to be the same type of coach he is.

I'm just saying Michigan's positives aren't exclusive. But Georgia's positives are (esp compared to Mich).
ETA: Plus it's just better. Unless you've got a connection to Michigan, it doesn't make much sense to choose them over Georgia.

They run those drunk buses from Atlanta to Athens for UGA fans, which my GF signed us up for. Me and 60 drunk UGA fans. I'm going to die.
