Yep - and proud of it. But I don’t let politics influence friendships or my judgment of people. To each their own. Have plenty of friends and family to the right of Attila the Hun. I do generally have more respect for the old GOP/Rockefeller Republican types than the current version but oh well.

DeBoer is a midwest guy. There's always the possibility that he just doesn't like the south. Much of his coaching career was also spent in the midwest so he probably has better high school connections there.
Bama is definitely the better job, but living in the south is not for everyone.
