I like Baseball more, and we’re more of a baseball school, but I’d choose basketball.
We got one in Baseball just a few years ago, and we’ve been historically the worst SEC basketball team/program. If we won a Basketball championship it would be pretty mind blowing.

Nobody gives a frick about basketball anymore. 20 years ago it was better but it fell off. Wins the national championship. Of course it’s gonna be in the news a lot because it’s the biggest brand in all of college sports and they get the spotlight

I’m an LSU fan so it’s hard to say I’m not biased, but the CWS is my favorite sporting event of the year. It just feels like America. Summer and hot dogs and baseball. And it has managed to maintain great deal of parity. Coastal Carolina can suck my balls, but it’s cool they can make it there. Or ECU. Or Wichita State. Or Pepperdine. Etc.
I watch basketball occasionally, but it’s hard to feel passionate for any teams. I’ll jump on a bandwagon if the Pelicans or LSU ever figure it out. But I don’t really care that much if they do.
