Don't know who Rosebowl is but I shudder to think that there could be someone less credible than you...

all I was saying is that if Bama gets Sanders i doubt they would get him.. from my Bama friends who i see everyday they made it sound like he was a Bama lock... apologies for not giving two shits about his middle name...
I don't think Alabama gets Sanders. At least it doesn't look like it right now. Jovon Robinson an Rushel Shell are the top two RBs at this moment.

Cap I hope we don't miss out on an elite rb in two classes back to back. That would be disappointing
I wouldn't call Dee Hart chopped liver.

my info comes from the coaching staff- not those two clowns- hell, when was the last time Rosebowl was right about something?
I also understand who we have in the backfield- but for recruiting purposes- he is being told he will play as a true Freshman and is needed because Ballard is graduating
Robinson would play as a freshman at Alabama. We'll have also just had three consecutive starting RBs drafted in the top three rounds. Ingram and Richardson going to in the first round.

I doubt we take another running back, but Jovon is really good. We just have too many running backs that are coming to Auburn. (Dyer, McCalleb, Mason, Blakey, Yeldon, and possibly Grant). All 5 and 4 stars..
We came into this recruiting season expecting to recruit at least two backs, nothing has really changed on that score despite Blakeley transferring in. After the 2012 season we'd have Omac gone and I wouldn't be surprised if Dyer is gone as well. Grant is not an up the middle runner, so he wouldn't even factor into our recruitment of Robinson. We are still extremely thin as far as true running backs go.
I'd say we'll definitely be recruiting at least one more back, though it may be more of a speed back than someone like Jovon. The Auburn coaches aren't going to have a repeat of last year and only recruit one back and get screwed IMO.

Yeldon+Blakely=2... We do not need another back this class. Give me some LBs and OL...

I think Blakely counts for last year. We're still looking for a second RB in this class.

Blakley will still have 4 years, no?

I'd say they are equally as credible.
This is how the guy got the name "Rosebowl"..... you won't regret reading this....

from what I've heard OM seems pretty adamant on leaving for the NFL

Haha pank I have that exact article bookmarked on my phone and computer, it makes me laugh everytime. On Robinson, it sucks for us that him and Walton hate each other, they could be one dynamic duo.

No Cap he isn't but hehasnt proven he can be an every down back either just yet and run bw the tackles. Weneed a 200 lb back
Eta; Cap somene updated your thread on Shell and he lists Bama, UF, VT, Pitt and someone else but Aburn was not on his list this time. UF and Bama are the only two sec teams on it now. Pitt is prob where he ends up though.

Well since I can't get any responses
...
If we take a 3rd RB this year, I'll be dissapointed.. We're about as stacked as can be if you count Yeldon and Blakely.. We need to stack the OL, LB, and DT position.

Don't forget Justin Taylor is already committed. Alabama is now looking for a second RB for the 2012 class. I wouldn't overlook Taylor just yet. Ingram was the "second 'back" in the 2008 class.
