I don't doubt he likes La. I don't doubt he might like it more than Bama. I also don't doubt there is no way in hell he coaches there again and that the continuous posts from Lsu folks about how he likes it there shows how much more they respect the coach we have now vs the coach that is there now. In the end, it matters not where you reminisce about, but where you are today. And I'll take what we've got, so long as Saban has the ethics to do his very best for Alabama, he's welcome and I've got no complaints.

Not to mention he likes living in LA more than Alabama.

It's called LIVING IN DENIAL

I don't give a frick what he likes. He gets paid a lot of money to win games. That's all that I care about.

The point of the matter is that not one of us knows what he really likes and dislikes relative to living circumstances.

Everybody ought to shut the frick up about things they don't know anything about.

What was he supposed to say? Was he supposed to talk smack about LSU and the state of Louisiana while talking up Tuscaloosa? ...this isn't WWF wrestling...

I'm sure Saban has a lot of good friends and fond memories of his stay at LSU...

...I can't hold it any longer, why does Nick not love us the same?

Seriously though, We (Bama) gotta stop being so insecure.

In all fairness she simply asked him if he likes living in Tuscalosa. Nothing about LSu or LA. He brought it up; she didn't.

Most of the country views the entire South that way, they just think that Louisiana has some coonasses to add to it.

You're probably right, to an extent. Most of my friends are from CA or the Northeast, and if I said name the first state you'd think of if I said redneck and/or trailer trash, they'd say Alabama.

Nationally, most of the folks associate Louisiana with the scenes depicted in The Water Boy -- swamps, coon asses, etc.

Confirmed. I went to school in upstate NY and that was pretty much the case. I can say though that I saw the stars and bars on the back window of a pickup truck in Troy, NY one night...they have their rednecks as well.

Here's something Nick Saban and everyone reading this post can count on: If Saban continues to diss Tuscaloosa/UofA/Alabama fans by continually speaking/insinuating publically he's unhappy at Alabama - he will be gone quick and he won't make the decision.

If Saban leaves Alabama in the next couple of years to go anywhere besides LSU he'll lose his personal credibility and his reputation will be so damaged he won't be able to coach effectively.

eta- If he really doesn't like it at Alabama I pray he goes back to LSU - that would create a rivalry to end all rivalries. We all know you can never really go home can you? I'd love to see Nick Saban try to go home (if home is LSU) if he leaves Alabama.

Why do you give a frick about what he says? All he has to do is win and win big for that matter. I don't give a shite about what else he says or does.

I do. And if you've been around to the premium Alabama boards they care as well. We want to win - but not at the cost of our dignity.

LSU fans need something to distract themselves from the upcoming Peach Bowl decimation at the hands of GT.

Now youre being retarded. You Bama fans know exactly what you got with Saban...or you should have. Why do you care if he's not married to Bama? Be glad if he wins a NC or two and go about his way.

Saban is just playing politics. He knows he will be playing in N.O. for many years to come when the Sugar Bowl rolls around and he doesn't want it to feel like he's fighting yall on top of the team we will be beating, especially the years it is the N.C. game.

with his politics, he will be fighting yall daily at Bama

Now I see why all of the normal Alabama fans run from those Alabama boards to over here. I couldn't stand pompous asses like this either.

Saban didn't say any of these words:
"Alabama"
"LSU"
"Louisiana"
"Sucks"
or "rednecks"

What insult did he hurl at you to disrespect the Alabama football program or the University in general?
