I am not flaming the board. I am just being honest and using common sense. Why do you think Davis lied about taking a visit if he never intended to go there? Miles knew he had lost him at that point and pulled his offer. People here are saying Saban will never get a La guy that Miles wants but he already has.

dengle, it is called reality. Miles says that Davis lied about taking a visit to Alabama and thus he pulled his scholarship. However at one time Lsu did want him and he was a commit to go there. I think if Davis lied about the visit then he was planning on changing his mind as well. Miles knew this and pulled a scholarship for a guy he was not going to get anyway. Thus saving face in the situation.

These final signings will have a good at Bama finishing with #1 class for the 2nd straight year. Especially with Randle :nana:

Pat Forde put it perfectly in regards to the corndogs burning Saban. "This is jealousy pure and simple. They want him but they can't have him."

Gotta laugh at all these overly dramatic conspiracy theories as to why he can't make it at Bama. Especially from a group of people that him back at LSU more than anything. LOL at LSU football.
Good coaches lose assistants because they are successful. Bad coaches assistants get run off or fired (see Lsu's defensive side for example)
Is it true that they are looking at John Blake? Lol at "Saban's Hell". Lsu fans are so dramatic.
Saban will likely upgrade those coaching positions anyway. I think Mcelwain coming in when Applewhite left was one of the main reasons the team had so much success this year.
If beaches, weather and beautiful woman is all it takes Hawaii would have the #1 class every year.
The beaches and girls don't hurt but USC's history of winning and putting tons of guys in NFL has more to do with it I would think.
Alabama is one of the few programs that is synonomous with greatness in college football throughout history. It's not a tough sell. Norman Oklahoma is not paradise either but they get great recruits for the same reason. If you ever go there it is not a place that will wow you but the tradition and history of success will.
