I googled about its effectiveness, and it said this:

"The effectiveness of doxycyclene for rosacea treatment is highly significant, with studies showing that approximately 75% of patients achieve treatment success after 12 weeks of use. This high efficacy rate is attributed to the medication's anti-inflammatory properties, which are particularly effective in reducing the redness and bumps associated with rosacea."
Sorry to hear, I feel your pain. And yes, I've recently had great success dealing with it.

I went to a dermatologist a few months ago because I thought I might have skin cancer, or worse yet, liver issues. It took her about 5 seconds to recognize it was rosacea.

She put me on a prescription of Doxycycline. It's an antibiotic in capsule form and one of its side effects is it clears up skin. For dermatologists, the side effect is the cure. The dosage is low (50 mg, not enough to combat an infection) and I've been taking 1 capsule a day after dinner. My face and nose cleared up completely in about 2 weeks and has been fine since.

She also prescribed Metronidazole cream which I use most days but not every day. But it's really the Doxycycline that I believe made the difference. She said if I stopped taking it, there's a 50-50 chance it would come back, so for now I'll keep taking it.

Frankly I'm surprised your doctor didn't prescribe it. I'd make sure to raise the issue with your dermatologist when you see them. I hope this helps.

Roll tide what? More like a bait ball. They're going to have a whale of a time fielding a competitive team.

IN WHAT PARALLEL FREAKING UNIVERSE IS THERE A "SOMEWHAT UNFLATTERING PICTURE OF AUDREY HEPBURN"?!!

So basically, he bragged the sub was unsinkable.

Oh, the irony.

The Palm Tree Anthem

O! say, can you see, thru Cam 5 on TV,
What so proudly we hailed, as the storm howled and wailed:

Whose broad fronds and green crown, through the perilous storm,
O'er Youtube we watched were so gallantly streaming,

Through the hurricane’s eye wall, yet our tree did not fall,
And gave proof through the night, of its timbre and might;

O! say, does that palm covered tree still* wave
O'er the land of the beach and the home of the brave?

I like this

I don't know if anyone has already brought this up, but I wonder if the Cheney's animus against Trump has to do with what happened at GHWB's funeral where the Bushes and other were given envelopes that obviously caused them a great deal of concern. What was in those envelopes?
