Was wondering where all the LSU guys were then looked up their 2019 class (which was highly rated, #5 overall). Boy, that class has had issues

#3 - Derek Stingley Jr (future Top 5 pick)
#13 - John Emery (19 games, 566 yards, 7 TDs)
#32 - Marcel Brooks (transferred to TCU)
#97 - Kardell Thomas (backup OL, weight issues)
#112 - Trey Palmer (11 catches, 114 yards, 0 TDs)
#129 - Mo Hampton (transfer portal)
#138 - Siaki Ika (transferred to Baylor)
#139 - Tyrion Davis-Price (23 games, 741 yards, 9 TDs)
#154 - Ray Parker (arrested, kicked off team)
#159 - Donte Starks (dismissed from team)
#166 - Devonta Lee
#206 - Anthony Bradford
#313 - Peter Parrish (kicked off team, Memphis)

Some real issues with that class. Our 2020 class has done a lot better, but of course, they are not draft eligible. Down the stretch in 2020 our best players were Max Johnson, Boutte, and Ricks.

I was about to say - that 2020 class has been the opposite. A lot of really good players, both at the top and bottom that have already contributed after only one year.

Ricks, Boutte, Ojulari, Roy, Johnson, McGlothern, Moore, Taylor, Gaye

Fair or not, there are also some people that are leery about how much a QB in that system truly has to process and decipher with Kiffin being such a savant and calling the game from the sidelines even down to audibles.

It's a different system, but I've read similar things about Howell at UNC with your old 3 plays in the playbook OC.

really surprised Trajan Jeffcoat didn't make the list at DE. He may be one of the best DE in the sec next year, had 6 sacks in just 6 games while missing the entire offseason as a sophomore.

Pelini telling Brooks and Ika they can’t play here was something else.

Thankfully a number of the lower rated players in that class have turned out to be gems.

I know Kiper's list is fake because Jordan Palmer said Bo Nix would be the #1 overall pick.

When you combine that with a bad 2018 class, it's pretty easy to see why LSU was so bad in 2020.

Those Aggys should consider opting out to save their draft stock. Going to be a disappointing season in college station.

When you have no help over the top because the DC and Safetys coach are at each other’s throats and giving the players contradictory instructions, it’s difficult to be successful.

Are they? You had like 6 opt out last year.

I could see DJ Dale and Josh Jobe making some moves up the list for Bama.

So, this is how he rates them or where he thinks they'll be drafted? Harris won't likely go that high due to his position.
