I have indeed spent a lot down in La. Met a lot of nice folks and still have guys who were business partners that I still speak with regularly.
Nothing about the people or place (other than the traffic) ever bothered me.

There’s a place to post on here exclusively for Alabama fans. I believe LSU fans have the same opportunity. What’s the consensus amongst your LSU brethren about LSU being the only SEC institution to abstain from voting against former professional players returning to play in college?
You and your buddies still excited about it taking 2 hours to cross the Mississippi River Bridge while it feels like it’s about to give way at any second, meanwhile every dime in that State is being pumped into the hopes that LK will make the CFB Playoff?
What happens when Bama spanks that little Tiger a** like it’s their birthright?

How does this make sense?
People create accounts here to talk about LSU because this is an LSU board. Someone certainly wouldn't go to VolNation, SurlyHorns, Hogville, or TexAgs to talk about LSU.
Can you imagine a bunch of complete retards on any of these other boards ridiculing people for talking about the teams they signed up to talk about?

Other fanbases are too insecure to allow people to come to their boards to talk shite about the team the board represents.
Chicken created a separate page for it then laughed all the way to the bank. I like to think some of the revenue generated from the melts and tears here helps LSU buy these players, but it may not.

It defies logic the amount of LSU fans her who insist that LSU not be discussed on an LSU board. It's the weirdest thing.
Every person here is here to talk specifically about LSU, this is why the board is here. I may create an account on SurlyHorns and then make a post about Texas and see if Texas fans ask why I created an account to talk about Texas.

It seems like LSU fans think it is a great gotcha moment to figure out a poster that is not an LSU fan created an account to come here and talk about LSU.
They seem genuinely proud of themselves, as if they have learned to count to 100, when they can prove a poster that is not an LSU fan is talking about LSU on an LSU board.
I don't know of any boards that disallow fans of other teams. Maybe that is just how coonasses think things work because, you know, they don't know too much.

I don't know you well enough to give out personal information. I do feel comfortable letting you know that when I want to talk about LSU, I sign on here.
Isn't that why we are all here? Maybe try to explain that to some of your fellow LSU fans so they don't seem uneducated and embarrass themselves.
They would probably process the information more easily coming from one of their own kind.

This doesn't mean much. You could have lived in Louisiana for 50 years and still not know where your mailbox is. That's not uncommon for LSU fans.
People who just learned that Louisiana existed yesterday often know more about Louisiana than people who have lived in Louisiana their whole lives.
