I saw Orgeron interviewed they ask him which was better the National championship USC team he coached on or LSU..he said the difference was the spread offense that LSU ran it could score on anyone that was an amazing team. Those Miami teams from the 80's were pretty good too I don't think 1 team produced more hall of famers than that Miami team

I’ve been on a rant today so I have mention it…
What makes it interesting is that it was mostly Louisiana boys supplemented with minimal out of state players. You may not like it but that’s college football. Not these one year semi-pro NIL deal roster builds.
I just checked Indiana’s playmakers and not one of them are from the same state. Similar for Oregon.
This is not the same game that I grew up with.
