We usually identify people by their names. Not sure what so groundbreaking or hilarious about that.

So when speaking about college Gameday you refer to them as Rece, Kirk, Desmond, and Nick as well?

I think a large part of the McAfee hate is jealousy at a subconscious level. He has a really cool job and makes good money doing it. People who take the time to post about how bad McAfee sucks on the internet are jealous of his job and his success and it doesn't even register in their brains that they're jealous.
Yeah same with Nickelback and Jelly Roll. They’re actually really really really good.

Great comparison.

McAfee is a lot like Nickelback and Jelly Roll.

They all suck.

Not usually. Sometimes.

Not sure why it matters.

It’s not pertinent to this conversation.

I can see why it troubled him.

yeah, because he's a fricking pussy. And so is anyone taking his side

This is a guy who got a major long-time broadcaster fired because the dude didn't pubilcly praise mcafees fricking album hard enough. He isn't used to be told no. So any hint of "dude you suck and you're lame", especially coming from the college-aged people he thinks adore him, was probably a shock to his systme.

It is a football show, it doesn't need to go off the rails

One could argue that its a tailgating show, about football.
Have you seen the crowds that show up to the show? They are all wild and off the rails, even before Pat McAfee became apart of the show.

Pat knows ball pretty well, I think he is exactly what the show needed after they tried to milk Corso's career for as long as they did - which was rough the last few years.

I am fully confused. that video was the most PG entry level chirping. didn't he play in the NFL???? he genuinely hit that level of fame/money where you become a huge baby (i.e. Howard Stern, Dave Portnoy, Mike Florio)

That wasn't nearly as bad as I had envisioned. Hey Mcafee, HTFU.

He also had a problem with the student kicker’s complaint that the million dollar prize wasn’t enough.

I heard this was the biggest issue Pat had and the way the fans acted during that segment over it.
