Just wanted to point out that the guy laying on the ground in the rectangle is not on the 17.......more like the 22. Just saying.

From the blog:

See the guy down in the rectangle? That’s not #9 — he’s been blocked down to the 17-yard line.

He was saying that #9 was at the 17-yard line. It's a tricky sentence so I see why you read it that way.

wonder when a team is going to try the one the Chicago Bears pulled? Pretty cool idea. You have to watch it closely, they even fool the camera crew, the ball and return is on the other side of the field. Wait for the replays, it shows how they drew everyone over to the other side of the field.

Looks like he took a breather on the sideline waiting on the two blockers to arrive.

83 yard return > 82 yard return

Oh, and 4-0 > 2-2.

Best SEC punt return I've seen since Chad Jones in 2009.

Well done, Maze.

High schools in LA. used this double punt returner crossing action in the 60's. Wonder why they ever got rid if it. The returners always crossed and it was predetermined as to which side the return was to so the returner that caught the ball would either keep it or hand it off depending on which one caught it. The guy with the ball always crossed in the front of the non ball catcher and either kept it or handed it off.
