From the article you linked:

quote:

"There were some reports that passersby were coming in and loading up on some of those corn dogs for dinner," Cpl. Marcus Hines told WWLTV. "It's been a big mess but a lot of folks will be eating pretty good this afternoon ... Everything you need to make a good corn dog was in the middle of the roadway."

That's one bad arse curve where that accident happened. Traveled that part of I-220 many times, at the appropriate speed I might add. I wouldn't have stopped though...I prefer State Fair corney dogs myself.

If you want to help out, you can still give donations to Louisiana Corndog Recovery Fund.

For less than the price of a cup coffee a day, you can help provide a corndog to a Cajun in need. Please, call now.
STILL waiting for somebody to put andouille in the damn things. THAT would be irresistible!

I remember getting an alligator sausage corndog from a festival in Louisiana. I can't remember if it was in Nola or Lafayette, but it was damn good. It was definitely the ultimate coonass corndog.

On that note, I always look forward to 50 cent corndoga at Sonic. I love those things.

It's just too soon to be making jokes about that senseless loss of corn dogs. You fail as a human!!!!!
