Luke is going to end up on LSU shadow staff and then 14 years later lead us to an undefeated season

So you want to just hire someone else who has no business having the job bc everyone else said no? I’m not saying that’s what’s gonna happen but they better have someone already on the hook bc yeah I’d rather waste one season with a current HC than waste 3+ with a new one and have another buyout to payoff

I know I’m in the minority but I also this it’s a mistake. They did it to simply get popularity points. In our first 7 games next year we plays Baylor LSU auburn bama and Florida. What coach would be excited about that? That’s suicide. And everyone was calling for this years team to win 4 games. They won 4 games. People are just mad bc they were actually close in most of those loses.
Should’ve given him next year and then pulled the plug once it got ugly.

He's a good coach who wouldn't have the resources to compete. He holds out, better gigs will come along.

Better gigs have come along, and he was passed over. Ole Miss has definitely competed in the past so I don’t know what the frick you’re talking about.

They had no problem with the 2017 Egg Bowl end zone pissing incident. Luke was promoted from interim to head coach.

Huge mistake. Ole miss needs stability to weather the sanctions. He wasn’t a bad coach.
