I don’t think it matters. That dude could have Bert and Ernie as OC and DC, and Bama is still making the playoffs.

LSU fans told us Canada was the best OC in college football. What happened?

Some may have. I certainly wasn't one of them. I thought he was a good hire at the time, as in I believed he'd be better than Cam Cameron. But after seeing his offense throughout the season, it looked a lot different but with almost identical results in terms of production.

Im sure being told what to do by Ed O and being told what to do by Saban is a little different.

If it were just with Orgeron, I'd agree with you, but Canada rarely gets along with any of his HCs. He said Beilema meddled, was fired by Dorean, etc.

dude is clearly a total dickhead and doesn’t like being told what to do.

We were all told that Coach Eaux was going to be a CEO and allow his coordinators to do as they pleased.

Again, Kiffin is a much better OC than Canada and he has a completely different personality type. This board is filled with such mouthbreathing retards

This is true. People forget that Kiffin actually did very well with UT in his year there. He took Jonathan Crmpton from being one of the bigger busts over the past 10 years to being a pretty good SEC QB and a 5th round draft pick. He did well at USC on the offensive side of the ball. He even did well at Alabama regardless if he and Saban inevitably parted ways. Kiffin's issues are more if he has the maturity to be a head coach, but I don't think there's any question he knows how to run an offense and has done fantastic with QBs.

Chavis was the GOAT. He ditched them for the Aggies, and then overnight, he's terrible.

This is a terrible example because it's true...

Did he even call the plays this year?

nope, never has at the college level. Helton calls the plays at USC and has since 2010

I actually think Tua would be a perfect fit for Canada's offense. The shifts and motions combined with the threat of Tua to run would be much more effective than Etling.

Same

I don't think O makes it to 2019 if bama brings him in and they take off.

No thank you. I dont feel like watching my TEs run back and forth 1,000 times only to end up where they were originally lined up before every snap.

If Canada has a history with locking horns with the head coach, I would hate to see him try Saban.

We were all told that A&M is rich and wouldn’t run out of money after grossly over paying for their HC and ending up going to the bargain bin of reject assistant coaches yet here we are
