Not saying I'd want Canada but working for the GOAT is way different than working for an imbecile who doesn't speak coherently.

Well, Canada took the job. I don't think your description of him was a secret.

Our players and coaches are too stupid to run his system and learn it in one year.

Honestly, I think Ed is the only one too stupid. He doesn't understand it. He's a simpleton and is insecure about it. Can't believe he fricked Canada. That was about as dumb as it gets.

People said the same thing about Saban and Kiffin, that they couldn't work together

True. Saban put up with him for 3 years. That's gotta take a lot of patience. I'm no doctor but I would be willing to bet Lane's 3 years took a year off Saban's life. Would have taken 10 years off mine but Saban is a tough old prick.

It would be kinda funny. Of course hiring O made me decide LSU just wasn't going to be serious about football for a few years. Laughing about it (and the assorted byproducts of the hire) is a lot healthier than constant angst.

Interesting move by Bama OC. Patriots, one year with Saban, back to pros. This is proof to whining LSU fans that it's about the head coach, not an OC. How many OCs has Saban had? 7 now I believe. What's the constant? The best CHEATER in CF history
