He meant to say Canada was a finalist for the Broyles award. You're right nominated means nothing.

Why are Auburn fans so hard over Stidhem? His pedigree as a starting QB consists of a loss to Oklahoma, a game in which he was injured, followed by an outing against Oklahoma State and another injury. Just not impressed.

He managed to beat Clemson with Pitt's athletes. I'll think he'll do fine here. I believe we'll see a big improvement in Danny Etling's production, similar to how Nathan Peterman improved under Canada.

Using Peterman as an example will give false hope. He was a solid 4* out of hs. Chaney probably is due more credit, and Canada just deserves credit for not messing him up.

Actually, Peterman helped Peterman by making the right call. He was always a great practice player and was very much liked by coaches here. However, he turned in the worst performance I've ever seen from a QB in his first start against UF. He never could get his head right after. UT even supplied sports psychologists to help him but the fact is he needed a change of scenery to escape that game and Dobbs already had the position locked down. Once he graduated and went to Pitt he could reinvent himself and he did.

And, yet, here you are, flaming LSU fans for being excited about a coaching change.

Not at all, it's you guys that should feel ashamed over those numbers. It just shows that perhaps Saban has done far more with less

I don't believe anyone here would dispute that, however "shame" is far from what I feel when I see those Tigers in the NFL. It just shows that they picked the correct school in order to achieve their greatest goal in life.

Like others have said, he's not Cam Cameron. I'll add that he's also not Goose Malzahn. Are you one of those sad cases that still thinks Auburn is well coached? Let's revisit this in November when Goose has four losses.

Let me know when Canada leads his team to two national championship games and wins one. Until then, he is definitely not Malzahn. My guess is that won't happen any time soon or ever

It is comical how you coonasses have convinced yourself that you are headed to greatness based on a victory against a BYU team that struggled against mighty Portland State

Well, Michigan is only now recovering from that. Intentional or not, Les gets credit for making Michigan's arse quit for twenty years.

He appears to know plays other than toss dive left, toss dive right, and "throw the ball deep out of bounds on 3rd and long."
