UTa has Master’s winner (& world’s #1 golfer) Scottie Scheffler & Master’s winner Jordan Spieth in field this year.

Scheffler is great despite going to that school in Austin.

He really is. He may be the best golfer we’ve ever had. And that list includes guys like Justin Leonard, Tom Kite & Ben Crenshaw.

Pro Golf is dying on the vine. The Players Championship was down 15% from last year. Meanwhile, women's basketball is climbing new heights.

They had better figure out how to get the best players and all those brand names together soon.

The majors have all the big names. It's the tournaments in-between that are suffering.

It's sad the split. Not only for the sport, but for the fans as well. I wonder if the Ryder cup will consent to let LIV players in next year ... especially after Rahm

I doubt it. If the prospect of investment money didn't close the great divide, nothing will. I don't think Tiger is going to let the players part of the board accept Saudi revenue so ratings will have to plunge to get the PGA desperate enough to reconcile. That could easily happen but that is a slow bleed.

The problem is the players on the PGA don't want to just let the LIV "defectors" back without a penalty. And I'm not sure I blame them. Then you add the European league in and it is just a mess.

They don't want back in. They left because of money and for some, a lighter schedule. Every pay raise the PGA players have enjoyed in the last 2 years is because of the fear of LIV poaching and harvesting the PGA.

Forget all the huffing and puffing by the players. This is a royal mess and nowhere near getting resolved. If LIV expands its roster, look for many more brand names to head that way in the near future.

It very well could happen. But the problem is that LIV viewership isn't even on the same level as the PGA. With all the defections. Nobody watches it from what I've seen.

Why would you say thanks for that? Were you his coach or dad? Otherwise, wtf’s it have to do with you?
