At some point it’s time to give up football and move on with life

This is one of those kids that should have stayed put IMO

It’s been widely reported he is trying to get a waiver for one more year to transfer to Miami to be with family.

Does he even need a waiver anymore?
2019 - RS
2020 - COVID year
2021 - Freshman season
2022 - Sophomore season
2023 - Junior season
*Note. It looks like it's showing he played in 5 games in 2019 but only has game logs for 3. Did Saban possibly burn this kid's RS year for no reason 5 years ago?

I thought the reason he didn't dress for the bowl game was to prepare for the pros ? Guess he didn't get the feedback he was expecting.

I think he got bumped up to second string when his brother spent almost half the season injured. He started at 3rd string and played a few snaps vs Duke and Southern Miss. Was just a crap set of circumstances.

Saban brought him in 1 game just to take a kneel down on the last play smh my head

And the carousel keeps turning. College football is becoming a joke.

I think he was active for 5 or 6 games in 2019.

Ok, let me be as clear as I can be here...if Taulia Tagovailulu goes to the sec, or the big 12, or the acc, or the mountain west, etc., he becomes an IMMEDIATE Heisman candidate, a superstar player, a team leader, and a future 1st round draft pick (and an NFL bust for some team).
Now, if he stays in the Big Ten Conference and keeps playing in the weather and playing against all these CHAMPIONSHIP defenses week after week after week, then he becomes some scatback/wr/rb trying to PRETEND to be a QB, just like Michael Peenix did at Indiana...the B10 is hard on QB's, trust me, but it makes the Tom Brady's and JJ McCarthy's of the world, too!
Point being, if you're a QUARTERBACK trying to get ready and play at the next level, the Big Ten is for you! If you're some "scatback" like Tagovailulu or Peenix or Justin Fields or some scrub out-of-position football player like those dudes, then you MIGHT want to head to the sec or the big 12 or the acc or some mid-major Creampuff Division in some warm & tropical Sunshine Conference...if not, you're gonna get your feeling hurt in the Big Ten, for real!

I saw that he is credited for 5 games but he only has "stats" for 3. The only explanation would be he played in 2 games where he just handed the ball off to a running back, which seems crazy no one was paying attention to his game count to burn a redshirt year for that.
