What is up with Tennessee WRs and injuries? Reminds me of UGA's slew of injuries to their WRs over the past few years.

North killed us with some awesome grabs in 2013. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

As I understand it, prior to North's injury yesterday, UT had 18 players out of practice on Wednesday due to injuries. Most were just nicked up a bit...but that is still a huge number or players on a team that doesn't have a ton of depth.

Most were held out due to resting fatigued muscles mostly. They said if we were to play Bowling Green tomorrow, 16/18 would play. I wouldn't put too much stock into those 18 being out

I hate seeing anyone get injured, I don't care who they are, or who they play for... At the end of the day, it is a 18-22 year old kid who is just chasing his dream, and getting injured can ruin that. I hope the reports are wrong and he is back before your first game!

They can already know if it is a tear or not by examining him on the field with reasonable confidence. An MRI is done to examine the severity of the injury (tears, etc).
He ain't coming back in 4 to 5 weeks.
Good luck to him in his recovery and he can come back to being a solid player.

Now hearing it is a grade 2 MCL sprain. Likely out 4-5 weeks.

I dislike UT as much as anyone but I never want to see anyone injured..these young men work so hard and some of them have future potential to earn themselves a lot of money.
Let's hope for good news from the MRI.
