Then you should get over it, like other people are doing. He's taking his fair share of punishment, more so than I've ever seen for a bad hit. However, it was a very hard hit.

He should be arrested too, IMO. I want him kicked out of football and school.

Seriously, I mean the police need to confiscate his 30 pairs of shoes for DNA

The returner ran forward several yards.

You are trying to get away from the ball so you cradle your arms like you are trying to catch it, right?

That Bama player didnt get ejected, and that was a pretty dumb hit right there.

It's not like the Vandy player was injured, he played later in the game.

I don't see how this is a big deal. Hell people are making a bigger deal of this than when Spike tried to gouge a guys eyes

This Wade stuff has worn out its welcome pretty quickly. The guy was punished for his action and seems to recognize that his following behaviour was wrong. Everything else is :beatdeadhorse:

Kirkpatrick should have been ejected for raising his hands and celebrating that hit.

You can't tell from the gif, but he's actually yelling "hallelujah!" as he puts his arms up.

Saw this on another board:

"If you watch the vid, you can see the shadow of the ball. I just wonder if he wasn't watching the ball's shadow and he thought the shadow matched up with the cradling movement of the returner. I did this in the yard and if he did indeed watch the shadow of the ball it could have looked like it was arriving before it actually was. I believe what he said at the press conference."

It was a shitty move but lets face it this story would not be nearly such a big deal on here if it had been a Vanderbilt player who did it. I don't think it would be a bad move to suspend him but all this he should be kicked out of school stuff is absurd. Where was this for Courtney Upshaw, Eric Smith, Jordan Jefferson?
