I seriously doubt it. Many SEC teams are great every season.
I know Alabama will have some tremendous depth and hired one of the best DL coaches in the country. Craig Kuligowski will turn out some monsters.

I would wait before crowning y'all's DL as being back. Your DL has been average to below average for several years. It takes more than one or two great pickups to get a great DL.

You’re a fricking clown just like your team. Who in there right mind ever claimed Muschamp was a great football coach, dam sure no other college football coach or football pundit. It’s all in your mind dog

Fun fact: Georgia Tech has more SEC titles than South Carolina.

Dude, you have Will Muscrap as your head coach. Not exactly an upgrade over Orgeron.
We are not “cycling down”. We will still continue to win 8 or 9 games a year (something SC would kill to be able to do every year).
SC is not “cycling up”. You compete in the shitty SEC East where there is only one team worth mentioning in and it damn sure ain’t South Carolina.

Fingers crossed that Muschamp breaks the streak Kentucky has on you right now.

On a serious note, who wins between a battle of the best Dline vs the best Oline? I think UGA will have the best oline for years to come. Especially the 2019 season. The 2018 oline will show the potential but will have an extra year of experience for 2019 that just puts it over the top.

Probably depends on the individual matchups.

In 2 years tDecline will be in full force, lower 4th of the West.
Saban should be goner.

Well they better nut up if they are gonna be better than Alabama with Saban's obsession with big/fast guys up front and the mild mannered Coaches Kuligowski and Lupoi tip toeing thru the tulips with 'em @ practice. Not to mention UGA whose got some full throated assistants on that side of the ball and having to turn down Georgia recruits SC would kill for. Auburn has the past master of pay-for-play DL recruiting coaches in Rodney Garner and another gentle soul in Steele directing the show. They'll put a knot on your head, all quit legally of course. Ask Kevin Murray.

I'm sure. People tend to forget that Tech would have been considered a "blue blood" school for a long time.
Circa 1960 a great program. But something happened in that decade that changed it all.
Minnesota is another school that used to be awesome. In the 30's they were every bit as dominant as Alabama has been for the past decade.
Incidentally they still have a lead in their head to head series with Nebraska, even though Nebraska won 17 or 20 straight after Devaney started them rolling.

Fun facts:
Georgia Tech played in the SEC for 31 years, from 1933-1963. Those were GaTech's hay day years in football. They were an all male engineering school who could attract the best white male athletes of the day ... like so many of the military academies for instance, who also fielded solid teams back then. Like Clemson A&M even, before they became coed. I'd have to check Texas A&M's history to see if the rule applied to them as well during that period.
Georgia Tech also competed in the SEC when Florida was not a powerhouse. Matter of fact they got out right when even Spurrier arrived and made Florida good for a few years. Ga Tech also was in the conference during the Suwanee and Tulane days ... no need to say more. The conference was Bama and Tennessee and a little bit of UGA and LSU in those days.
In those days they only played five, later six, conference games in an eight to ten game regular season.
GaTech was 9-3 vs LSU as an SEC member.
GaTech was 16-5-3 vs Florida.
17-3 vs Tulane.
16-13-2 vs UGA.
8-5-1 vs Tennessee.
9-17-1 vs Bama.
18-11-1 vs Auburn.
2-0 vs Ole Miss.
Didn't play Miss State in 31 years. LINK
8-5-1 vs Vandy.
11-6 vs Kentucky.
Do you see how this game is played? And do you now see what a complete and total asshat fricktard you are jj06.
All of this happened lonnnng before your daddy ever made the mistake of squirting his seed up into your mother.
So why even bring it up? Did you somehow think this was a knock on SC?
lulz
