While your white knighting for aTm is adorable, I think LSU fans will take Orgeron's national championship at LSU compared to Jimbo's 2-8 record vs Top 10 teams at aTm.

I know it's a difficult concept for a Mizzou fan to grasp, but the standards at LSU are a wee bit higher than at aTm.

We prefer to applaud end-of-year accomplishments, but again, I'm trying to make sense of this with a Mizzou fan.

Notice how Mizzou fans haven’t posted since Arkansas football has looked good. Scared they are.

You should write a book about your obsession with all things Jimbo.

Never witnessed a fan base get so triggered over a positive post like the OP.

Former LSU AD Joe Alleva on Jimbo Fisher: 'I would never have hired Jimbo'

nola.com: LSU focuses on Houston's Tom Herman after Jimbo Fisher balks at $6.8M per year offer
quote:

School administrators had been in contract negotiations with Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher for the majority of the week, according to multiple sources with knowledge of LSU's coaching search.

Three sources with knowledge of the negotiations said LSU was prepared to pay $6 million a year for Fisher and upped the ante to $6.8 million annually for the former Tigers assistant.

LSU's administrators, most notably athletic director Joe Alleva, wanted a deal with Fisher done by Wednesday.

Why would any sane program want a washed up FSU coach who the game had passed by? And then to give him that huge contract. Guess it’s true what they say in Texas. “There is nothing quite as dumb as a dumb Aggie”.
