The Aggie dynasty can't be stopped.

quote:

“I don’t want [Saban] to retire,” Fisher said, via the Houston Chronicle. “They’ve got a great team and I respect him. We’ve known each other forever.

“We can do it just as good and be just as good or better [here], and we will … That’s our goal and that’s what I want. We’re going to get there.”

quote:

We have to develop the skills, the right practice habits, coach the heck out of the players and let them play, and be able to play those games and understand how to play those games. How you do that is that Kent State is Alabama. Colorado is Alabama. New Mexico is Alabama. You play at that standard all the time. You play big games is how we had such success at Florida State.

quote:

"Your opponent has nothing to do with how you play. You play to your standard. The standard is the standard of excellence, and you have to meet that standard. It doesn't matter who your opponent is."

why is an LSU poster so concerned about a game his team isn't playing in? Seems weird to me

Wait for baseball season - the Farmer from Spring, TX will have live updates on all of LSU's out-of-conference games.

We're doing this again? If so, provide a link, please.

Until then..

Former LSU AD Joe Alleva on Jimbo Fisher: 'I would never have hired Jimbo'

quote:

“I still have a lot of friends in the ACC,” Alleva said. “I talked to them, and after that I didn’t want any part of Jimbo. I would never have hired Jimbo. He was never on my radar. Now, fans and some people in the department wanted him, but I never wanted him.

Yet many LSU fans wanted him and was upset and laugh when LSU got lucky and glad to pass on him because he wanted a lot more money. Texas A&M willing to do it. and got their coach and are very happy with him. They are by the way ranked in the top 10 and LSU? Where are they ranked?

Even though Les Miles won a national championship in the SEC (only two current coaches can say this), he did not build the undisputed greatest college football team of all-time.

That was Ed Orgeron's doing.

LSU's future is blindingly bright, regardless of the who holds the title of head coach. That's what frustrates so many people here.

LSU is an athletic program that simply breeds excellence.
