When has Dallas Baptist been better than GA over the last decade when you factor SOS? and what does 2014 have to do with 2024?

If UGA does well enough to host a regional this year, and DBU gets chosen as your 2 seed...what you just stated will become more clear when they win the regional.

DBU is the G5 baseball program I never want in a Fayetteville Regional. Ever.

SEC is way too loaded. We’ll drop a series (or two) at some point and Oregon State will coast to the #1 seed and that is fine by me.

We won't have it all season long. Our offense is too anemic.

Tennessee jumps Florida by beating unranked Ole Miss and loses to Bama but Florida beats two top 10 teams and remains the same?

I think some voters don't really follow baseball until later in the year. Florida staying the same is inexplicable.

State is playing pretty well lately but I still have trust issues with Lemonis. Need at least one win in Gainesville, two would be great but I’m not counting on it.

Baseball rankings are partially based on roster, staff, brand. This is in every sport but more so in baseball. That and the rankings never drastically change week to week.

Very unlikely Arkansas stays at the top of polls for very long..

Arkansas is ranked 132th in the nation in batting average which ranks them 11th in the SEC.

On base average is ranked 95th in the nation and that puts them at dead last in the SEC.

196th in double plays which puts Arkansas at 13th in the SEC.

204th in double plays per game which puts them at 10th in the SEC.

Arkansas is ranked 192th in doubles per game and that ranks Arkansas at 12th in the SEC.

Arkansas is ranked 198th in doubles, that puts them at 11th in the SEC.

Arkansas is ranked 107th in the nation in walks and that puts them at 12th in the SEC.

Arkansas is ranked 177th in the nation in hits and that would put them at 13th in the SEC.

79th in the nation in home runs and puts them at 10th in the SEC.

70th in the nation in home runs per game which gives Arkansas a 10th ranking in the SEC.

Arkansas is ranked 123th in runs and that puts Arkansas 13th in the SEC.

101th in the nation in scoring and that puts Arkansas at 11th in the SEC.

Ranked 111th in slugging percentage nd that puts Arkansas at 10th in the SEC.

Arkansas is very one dimensional. Horrible on offense but fantastic pitching.

This is a good team but the awful offensive stats makes them overrated.

It's not as bad as you think it is that said let's revisit this at the half way mark. I don't care about the rankings. We have already seen what happens when we are ranked that high through out the year. It's nice to get recognized but I just want to win the damn thing and make up for the embarrassment against Oregon State.

Not exactly. Hogs offense will catch up if they don’t improve and cost Arkansas the season. We may dominate on defense but lack of offense is what kept us from beating NC state…

The bats need to get better asap or it will be too much on pressure on this pitching staff.

Holding these SEC teams in a conference that loves to score to very low scoring games is not realistic and certainly not fair to these pitchers.

I rather have superior pitching to to superior hitting as defense will get you to a championship game but it takes an offense to win it all.

Van Horn teams have had the bats go cold multiple times in the post season and had ugly games in the CWS.

These stats don't mean anything now but it could foreshadow on what could happen if Arkansas does make an CWS run.

I think it's fair to worry about the offense.

132nd in BA
96th in OBP
112th in SLG
101st in Runs

We're averaging 6 runs a game in SEC play while carrying the best pitching staff so far. That's plenty good enough to win. You're getting hung up on stats from the slow start OOC. Over half the lineup is hitting over .300 now.

Have you just decided to make things up at this point? Arkansas is averaging 6 runs per in SEC play.

The offense ranks in the top half of the NCAA in all those categories and also rank above aTm in offensive statistical categories during SEC play.
