Saban is a control freak and a micro manager, you can make it work at the college level but not at the NFL level. Also Saban is a great game planner but an average gameday coach, at the NFL level you really need to be both. Also if college had a draft he'd not be able to hold a job, Saban's other thing is he is an aggressive recruiter. He can out game plan and out talent to make up for other areas, it works great for him. He will never go back to the NFL, I don't see any teams giving him a chance at that level again after Miami.

A turnaround of 4-12 to 9-7, but his NFL head coaching legacy will always be the 6-10 2006 season and "Dante Culpepper over Drew Brees"

That's exactly why there is small. maybe 2% chance he wants to go back and correct that. (We can hope can't we)

BTW: Brees is as much on the Dolphins medical people who didn't clear him.

That Miami defense was good as well. If you had a Saban defense plus a Brees offense, then Tubberville would have run out of fingers to hold up by now. We'd have Larry Coker running the show and we'd be praying for another 7 win season.

Questionable in many, many cases.

Maybe he could loosen up if he didn't have to worry about rouge players talking to agents...

If only he could take a lesson from you guys and just let the coaches start paying them, then he wouldn't have to worry about somebody else doing it.

It doesnt burn as bad as losing to 1 team in your same division 3/4 times will. Also the rest of the nation views that 1 time as played under illegitimate circumstances. Its ok though maybe yall can piggy back off our teams success again and hire Miles because Lord knows yall cant do it on yalls own.

If you had the tiniest inkling of how big of a pathetic, butthurt loser this statement proves you are, you would devote the rest of your life to making a time machine just to go back and decide to click the little X in the top right of your browser instead.

If we can't do it on our own, then please explain to me how we won it in 09? We ended the regular season ranked #2 in the country, beat #1 Florida in the SEC Championship game, then beat #2 Texas for the title. Don't try to say we piggy backed off Florida because we could have played Vanderbilt in that game and still played for the title because we would have still been #2 at the very worst.

And not sure how you say we piggy backed off your success in 11 since we held you without a touchdown for 8 quarters, lost to you in overtime once by a FG and then disemboweled you in January to the tune of 21-0 while allowing you 4 plays on our side of the 50 yard line all night... all on the same drive and all adding up to not only negative yardage but also a turnover to boot.

Our team is better than yours.

Our coach is better than yours.

Our program is better than yours.

LSU will forever be known as the team Nick Saban used to warm up with before taking on the SEC for real at Alabama.

I wasnt talking to the other SEC schools fans, Coach Saban didn't use them as a fluffer like he did LSU.

Even if you don't believe HBO, Terry Bowden admitted pay-for-play was going on at Auburn when he got there.

Truth be told...I like Saban.

I appreciate what he did for LSU while he was here.

I hated to see him leave, but understood the pull of the NFL.

I was, of course, pissed that he went to Bama. I mean, really Nick, of all the schools in all of the land...Bama?

I was pissed because I knew what he would do at Bama - and he has done just what I thought he would do.

I also think that LSU just happened to be on the wrong side of the NFL spectrum for him, and that worked to Bama's advantage - because Nick will never coach in the NFL again.

Well, unless some owner backs the Brink's truck up to his front door, which I guess is entirely plausible.

So, to all the Bama people, just remember that not ALL LSU fans hate you, your school, and Saban just because he's now coaching there.

Oh, and frick all of y'all.
