He's just providing information for those that think it's Newton's fault that the Panthers are inept. He hasn't been perfect but he's at the bottom of the list of things wrong with that team.

Manziel all day. He is amazing. Best college football player in a long time. Maybe ever.

You need to spend some time here and find out about that list you speak of.

Dude I honestly don't care if you live in Charlotte, I keep up with the Panthers pretty well since Newton took over for Clausen. Do you honestly think their record would be any better if they had a different QB?
Maybe try not paying a fortune for RBs that can't even run for more yards than your QB for starters, or get a better #2 WR than Brandon freaking Lafell to work behind an aging Steve Smith. If your offense's greatest receiving threat is a guy like Olsen, you are just asking for your offense to be stale. Especially when you have Shula breaking out some really conservative gameplans.

Different maybe but not Clausen. The bad history of drafting goes back to the beginning. Are you saying that Newton would be winning with the Patriots?

Absolutely I believe he'd be winning with the Patriots. Belichick did alright when he plugged Cassel into his system in 2008.

Who would you take for one year as your college teams qb?
Newton. Dude was a fricking tank that year.

I'd take Newton, but if I had enough money left over I'd try to buy Manziel too (back up option)

Agree. It was a weird feeling watching the game on Sat. I seriously felt like A&M could score anytime they really wanted to and I don't know if I have ever seen an offense that could do that outside of Pop Warner ball.

Both are phenomenal players, but I would go with Newton. Manziel notwithstanding, I think Newton is the best college player I have ever watched.

You can't go wrong with either one on the college level but give my Johnny football.

Lol at Aggies hating on Newton's NFL career. He has accounted for over 60 TD's in 2 seasons. Dude is a phenom.

Cam never lost, but he never played until he was an upperclassman.

JFF would ride pine behind newton at any stage of his career.
And newton rode pine for tebow. Perspective, you lack it.

He played something like a half-dozen games for Florida as a back-up before leading the mighty Blinn College, though. It's not like he had an underclassman career that in any way predicted his upperclassman career. He was hell on wheels at Blinn, but...it's Blinn. Not the SEC.

is that a serious question?
there are several current QBs that people would fawn over as some of the greatest ever had they had the good fortune to play for BB and the Pats in those prime years.
Cam, Romo, Rivers, Cutler, Ryan, Palmer, and Schaub would all likely have SB rings had they been dropped into the Pats prime years.
Hell, Drew Bledsoe probably would have won a title with them had he not gotten hurt and been replaced by the (at the time) much cheaper Tom Brady.
