when you score 42, you should win every game

losing was not JFF's/offense fault

Arkansas scored 42 on Auburn in 2010 and lost by 3 touchdowns.

If he hadn't thrown those two pics they probably could have pulled the game out.

The argument can be made that both offenses left points off the board, but Texas A&M's was definitely luckier yesterday. First off, Alabama's first drive was killed by penalties. One of those false start calls was BS. Secondly the Yeldon fumble and Sunseri interception returns were both 14 points swings which cancel each other out. Alabama lost their best corner too early, and the others didn't play well. There were several successful A&M passes that just as easily could have been incomplete or intercepted.

He doesn't take those risks, the game isn't close.

Two aTm drives kept alive by ball calls. He wasn't forced out and it wasn't targeting, late or anything other than football. aTm also had a drive kept alive by dumb, dumb, dumb horse collar of guy going out of bounds. Add on top of that the double digit false starts by Bama, the idiot single coverage of Evans on 3rd and long resulting in a long TD and aTm was practically given the game.
But, live by JFF, die by JFF.

I think pretty much everyone including A&M fans agree with that. That was an awful call. I'm thankful the "targeting" bit got thrown out and the guy gets to play next week, but I'm not even sure that should have been a penalty. The bad thing is the NCAA likely won't review the rule until after the season, and it may end up affecting important games this year.

THIS! One thing at least with which I think (at least hope) fans of every SEC team can concur.

hopefully they do and make the penalty reviewable as well. That could have been a 3 and out for us instead yall get 15 yards and a 1st down on what shouldnt have even been a penalty. there is alot of potential to change the outcomes of games as the rule stands now

Just a hunch, but I would say that he may be hyperactive attention deficit and that is what makes him so good. Many good basketball players are HAADD. He is a reaction player and has very quick eye.

Those risky throws we're because he had DL all over his tail not because he was making bad decisions throwing into coverage he played as well as anyone could have asked him to. We actually established a pass rush and contained him better than I thought we would. Mike Evans however well frick him.

Remind me again who McCarron's backup...I mean your 2014 starter is...because there is a MASSIVE drop off.

I know you guys are new to the SEC and all, but Bama's last two starting QBs won national championships in their first years as starters, having had nothing more than mopup duty previously.

Maybe so. But he had to take chances bc of zero running game and an absolutely horrible defense that thinks they're still playing in the big 12 or high school. JFF is pretty damn good and they're gonna score on every team they play, too bad their D might cost them another game or 2 bc that offense is pretty remarkable. On a side note, I would throw at that Evans guy all day long. He's a matchup nightmare and catches everything.

I don't care what you fricks say, those interceptions were back breaking. Alabama should be grateful for those two costly picks because they both lead to touchdowns which put the game just out of reach.

Don't act like you haven't said "if" before.
