Well I hope he doesn't kill himself in the next 2 years then. My brother was a high earning addict and it took him losing that high earning job to finally realize he fricked up.

wow. even if a person with that frame was 100% healthy, you would never expect them to play in the NFL.
Too llight
Too small
No muscle.
what a shame.

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for the guy. Layne Staley type of sorry. It's apparent he's on a path that he's powerless to stop

Hope he gets the help he needs.

Well. The Cleveland Browns are still going to pump about 6 figures a month to him for the next two years. He'll be spending 20k a weekend for a while.
I'd be very surprised if Cleveland was on the hook to keep paying him.

The dude is going to be incarcerated within a year.
He'll be lucky if he finds himself incarcerated rather than interred.

As a person who is currently dealing with a family member who is an alcoholic, his rock bottom will either be death or he'll be involved in some traumatic event that will completely change his life. Money will prolong the inevitable.

The dude is flaming out in spectacular fashion, but the shite is depressing to read everyday, to be honest.

Celebrity drug and alcohol fueled descents ceased to be amusing to watch after Amy Winehouse's slow but very certain spiral until her untimely death.
Some people can handle the non-stop party lifestyle and still function at a high level. Keith Richards or Ken Stabler for example. Most can't.
Manziel hasn't shown an interest in business. His sports career is dead. He's retired in his mid 20's with nothing to do. If he doesn't get his life on track soon he'll be dead before he's 30 and that is a damn shame.

They cut him. It was a guaranteed contract.

Yeah, he's really looking like a bum with money these days. Really not a good look for his Alma Mater that his coach tried to be his cool friend instead of guiding him in the right direction.

"the guarantees are null and void if Manziel specifically is terminated for a reason other than skill, injury, or salary cap."
I'm guessing his legal team eventually settles with the Browns for a much lower sum than the original guaranteed amount.

What's worse is that this picture was taken at a Showbiz Pizza with a Coachella background.
