but give the man credit, he's been nothing else if consistent in beating his LSU drum.
You know what else burned? Watching that defense give up 525 yards.

I get you wanna blame mett for that loss, because it helps your narrative that mett wasnt that good, but the defense in 2013 blew nuts.

Although I disagree with you, ESPN QBR says that at least as far as the Clempson game is concerned, it was worse.

People that criticize Harris really dont know shite about football.

Injury or no injury, Harris' performance against aTm last november is one of the worst ive seen in my lifetime.

I think something like half of the last champions of the last 15 years had a first year starter at QB.

Improved pass protection wouldn't hurt.

So no word on where to get this shirt?? Went to the LSU store on campus and they didn't have it or the new coaches polo for that matter

With his new salary he was probably able to get it before available to the public ;)

Les was still playing offense like he had Chavis in the press box.

Careful, you'll get a lot of people on here angry mentioning that second name.

But yes, the defense did the offense no favors last season.

Also, I wonder if Rohan Davey watched the arkansas game where LSU came out passing like they were texas tech.

Or that in the BAMA game, it didnt really matter if LSU wanted to run or pass, its pretty much impossible to do much of anything when your opposition's defensive line is taking the line of scrimmage and literally moving it a yard back on every snap.

Last night sounded amazing.

Miles changed the game plan on Thursday before the Bama game. They practiced a balanced attack for two weeks before that. The plane ride home was very interesting and informative from what I've been told.

I am pretty sure you didn't need to be Les Miles to see that the OL simply got outclassed in tuscaloosa that night.

When you are so basic in your offensive sets, it's easy for the opposing defense to just tee off on you..

I don't follow.

LSU’s offensive assistant coaches tried to convince LSU head coach Les Miles not to run right at Alabama’s formidable Front Seven last season.

Sorry, I am not reading 10 pages...but has it already been stated that the article does not quote a single LSU coach who said this ^^^ ?

I think the problem a lot of Louisianians have is realizing that the people of this state will give millions to the football team, but don't want to give a dime to the actual academic side of the university. That's the perception Alexander is dealing with. We will spend zillions on entertainment, but not on education.

which is much more manageable IF (big if) LSU has a disappointing season, coupled with the significant drop in the buyout. it all depends whats a "disappointing season".

LSU signed a kicker and punter in the c/o '15, so I would say yes.

Regarding coverage, lets all pray the answer is yes.
