Tebow also had a defense to back him up. A&M has no defense, so Manziel has to win the game himself.

Manziel is still a better QB, didn't need a particular system to flourish in, and won with substantially less talent surrounding him.

Tebow was great. I enjoyed watching him play. I also enjoyed watching the dozens of stars around him at Florida play. I just think Manziel was better for reasons already stated. That being said, Cam Newton was/is better than both.
