Consider yourself the only little bitch around, the speech didn't get me emotional, it was a Heisman speech for an award that folks knew he would win for the last month

You make it sound like he was Winston Churchill addressing the people of Great Britain during WWII

You guys are setting yourselves up for some serious withdrawal when your QB play reverts to "LSU's mean" come next season

Was a great speech and he said the right things. He’s very mature for a 23 yr old baw.

Yes. As a fan and alumni of lsu, i am very proud of joe burrow. He has been an outstanding student athlete. I think he Is one of the best players to play at lsu. Unbelievable season, deserves all the awards and accolades.

Now:
These lsu fans that are fricking crying are a god dam embarrassment. All crying because burrow Made Heisman speech.. be a fricking man, go outside and get hobby.

Joe burrow is not your kid. No need to cry and get emotional.
All this sun worshipers that are dreaming of joe burrow is disturbing.

If this is you.. then your a bitch.

He's not your kid and joe burrow certainly doesn't know you

to be fair, most Heisman winners get emotional, and the only time I gave a rat's arse was last night (I did watch the whole thing in 2011 but I knew honey badger wouldnt win). it is usually just a glorified middle school popularity contest.

but the way this program has done a 180 the past couple years truly is amazing.

that being said, it is only kids playing football at the end of the day.

but it is fun!!

That boy gave the most selfless heisman speech I’ve ever heard. He even thanked damn Ohio State. Maybe it’s the 60 years since we’ve had a heisman winner...or the appreciation he’s shown both LSU and Louisiana...or a combination of the two and more..but that speech hit me in the chest.

maybe it was seeing the cockiness/arrogance all year on the field, and then he completely broke down. a true sign of humility. most people dont have that characteristic until later in life, maybe never.

I think the speech was about a human achieving his dreams thru hard work and determination; to be the best he could at what he loves. That journey is not a solo act. I think we can all relate to that.

Man, it must be miserable being a ga tech fan. Y'all can't even win that shitty fricking conference in one of the most talent rich states.

No, it’s living in the historical moment.

Think that’s what got me. Seeing him unflappable and poised all year and finally breaking down in that moment. You realized the gravity of the situation for him and the weight of carrying two seasons on his shoulders as the team leader.
