Just watched it on youtube , I gave the link above. Dammit who is cutting onions. I won’t lie, I got a tear in my eyes. Great speech. Came from good family. Very humble guy. Hope he kicks arse in the NFL. Hello Saints???

All you KNOW is that he made a nice speech

You don't know jack shyt about this guy's family

You don't even know that he's humble, all you really know is what you saw on TV last night

Most celebs and Athletes, the public knows nothing about them other than what their handlers want the public to perceive about them

CFB before integration should be addressed with a big azz asterisk

Some of us have the ability to relate to other people because we’re not miserable assholes.

That boy gave the most selfless heisman speech I’ve ever heard. He even thanked damn Ohio State. Maybe it’s the 60 years since we’ve had a heisman winner...or the appreciation he’s shown both LSU and Louisiana...or a combination of the two and more..but that speech hit me in the chest.

Must have something to do with being from the State of LA

I saw the speech and the 1st thing that came to mind mind was, this is what I imagine it would look like if Eddie Haskell won the Heisman

There's something smarmy about that guy, it's like he's Eddie Haskell & Lt. Kendrick (from the Movie A Few Good Men) all rolled into one guy

There's another side to this guy and it's gonna come out soon, what a weasely, smarmy dude

It was a good speech. LSU posters can stop jacking off over it now.

He didn’t mention Mississippi State, where his grandfather played, so screw him and his Heisman.

So you've never leaked a tear or two of emotion in your life? I hope I'm never that soulless.

Losing a parent to cancer at 16 will make you never cry again. Can’t too much touch that level of emotion.

Shouldn't a 23 year old be mature? These are men, not boys.

I did at 18. If anything it made me more emotional for later things in life instead of less emotional. Made me appreciate more the things that should have emotional ties to them. Hell, I even cried more when I was 41 and my dad died of cancer also.

The fact you know who Eddie Haskell is proves two things. You're old and bitter. You watched Leave it to Beaver.
