Can you tell us how Pruitt's defenses have done against Alabama?

Best DC saban has had. How well he does at UT will determine whether we bring him back as DC or HC. He's going to have to pick it up if he wants it to be HC.

His defense was respectable against UGA.

The offense was trash. Will Friend was at UGA with Pruitt. He was in over his head as an OL coach, here. Guys can grow and improve. But color me skeptical after what I saw against the VoLLLLs.

What are those numbers from? No way last year’s bama team had a top 29 defense.

They were hit or miss.

Duke
New Mexico St
So Miss
Tenn
Ark
W. Carolina

They completely shut down the teams above. That’s half the teams on their schedule. Allowing big plays throughout the season, as well as USCe and Ole Miss putting up big numbers skewed the perception.

How did a dude that fostered such excellence at Bama fail to improve upon Butch Jones' record as a head coach when he inherited better players than Butch Jones did?
