Does Cam use Tom Condon as his agent?

The answer is No. So why no rumors about Cam? From what the talking heads are saying, it is between Cam and Gabbert for the 1st QB drafted.

Mallett has never been seriously considered as the 1st QB taken, before or after the drug rumors were floated.

my question isn't who started the rumors but where the hell did gabbert come from, he didn't set the world on fire at mizzou, he comes from a non pro style offense and his accuracy at a distance is not good at all.

Mallett v. Gabbert:

Mallett had better #'s, same amount of wins, against MUCH tougher competition, has a stronger arm, taller, and played in a pro-style offense.

Not - Even - Close.

According to Kiper, the best QB will be taken by Carolina again for the 2nd straight year after they drafted Clausen last year...

He showed up when Andrew Luck announced that he was returning to Stanford.

If AL had come out early, nobody would be mentioning Gabbert or Mallet.

Maybe Mallet should have had Condon as his agent? If what you imply is true, Condon is making Gabbert some serious cash.

I don't think gabbert goes before mallett, mallett is going to be picked up as the best prostyle qb.

Mallet will slip to the 2nd round not because of lack of talent only because of character concerns

It isn't necessarily a bad thing for Mallett to fall in the draft and be picked up by a good team with a good QB that he can back up for a few years and learn the game at that level...

Where did the whole Mallett wasn't a captain thing start? I heard one of the ESPN goofballs say it weeks ago and since it has been repeated all over randomly. It is just more of the smear campaign against him or what? That is different than the drug issue, instead of a he-said-she-said rumor issue that is a fact which can be checked and just ISN'T being checked.

Media coverage of this draft has been atrocious, never seen such a discrepancy between what teams front offices are saying and what the media guys are saying.

definitely not even close to true.

mallett was voted team capatin twice...

you just hate that his clutch throw of the year was against your team don't you.

yeah I hated it but he is a good player and he made a clutch play. Plus, our secondary blew I wasn't surprised.

He has had as many or more choke moments than mallett. Just go watch the Iowa game.

damn good point. If Gabbert's party should be worried about anyone it's Newton. Dude is constantly talked about and has a ton of hype surrounding him.

I have nothing to add but I do think mallett will be a bust. Another year would have helped.

This is common occurance the last few years. Agents stand to gain substantial cash if their guy goes higher. Also it is becoming more common for teams to character assasinate a player so the player will drop lower in the draft so they can possibly get a crack at him.

Welcome to the politics that is the NFL, sports is really becoming annoying.
