Make SEC Southern again

Let's give Missouri, Texas, and Missouri the boot. Ain't nobody want those schools or states in the conference. Why did we ever let the Yankee Sankey expand into those states? It'll only be a matter of time before the Texas fans start wanting to move traditional events to Texas. El Paso is closer to California than Savannah. Aint nothing SEC about that state or southern about the rest. Thanks Sankey for ruining what was the greatest conference

Southern or not, Texas football is still going to beat on y’all’s arse. Texas football is still got to represent the SEC in the playoffs.

Texas won't be returning to Atlanta this year. Yall will be good, but don't see a return trip. Maybe playoffs though.

Yeah Texas isn’t southern lol. Apart from I don’t know GEOGRAPHY tell me you have never been to small towns in Texas without telling me lol

Both Texas and Oklahoma have been considered Southern all my life (on the western periphery to be sure, but still Southern). TX and OK have kind of a dual identity in that regard (culturally considered part of the “Wild West” as well). Texas was also in the Confederacy, which should automatically end any debate on their Southernness.

For better or worse, we have plenty of small-town flag waving boys in Texas. And they aren't Ole Miss fans.

I grew up (in Texas) eating corn bread, black eyed peas, fried okra, and collard greens seasoned with bacon. There was a cotton gin 2 blocks from my house...
Have you not ever left Deliverance country to explore a little bit??

Who’s going to slow Texas down in the SEC? The only teams who have a shot on our schedule is Florida & Georgia. Maybe OU if they can reload on defense.

Shreveport is basically the same distance from Savannah as it is to Chicago. You want to kick us out to? STFU

We called them black eyed peas or black eyes in South Texas where I grew up. Also had crowder peas, green beans with bacon grease, and pinto beans of course…

Helpful hint: You don't have to start a thread for every thought that pops into your head.

The only state that goes further south than Texas is Florida
We knew y'all had some dumb fans but damn....

Pretty sure both Missouri’s (as in both you mentioned in your dumbass post) and Texas had a star on the confederate battle flag.
